Continuation, especially after a long period quiet, can take a minute. Searching for clever words, I’m resigning to let the words be the words; my words, so shall it be.
Online, my presence has been on the down low. Save for my personal Instagram (@velanchedj). I do use it whenever I have something to share; I do not scroll on it, past the first post of two that is atop its interface. I am not a fan of the infinite scroll; my time is too precious to fall down that abyss.
Maybe I’m old school like that, but posting content via a blog is how I’d like to share, whenever I have things worth sharing for public consumption.
To refresh hearts and minds on who I am, I’m a DJ and music tastemaker, though the latter has been on pause. I founded a local DJ collective here on California’s Central Coast called Soul Dust Productions, a crew of ten who are also friends and supporters of the DJ community. We are now in our ninth year. I also have done video content creation, also on pause, but due for a resumption of creative activity. It’s coming.
It’s now time to resume writing, posting, creating, expanding. I have attempted it several times, writing several drafts over a period of at least a year, maybe two; none of them made it here, other than the initial ones written about a year ago, before, yep, pausing.
For now, I shall let this hang. What have I’ve been up to? Where am I going? Stay close; I’ll let you know, within the next few days.
